K-AISER

KTPH-Academy for Integrative Sonography in Emergency and Resuscitation

K-AISER

K-AISER, formerly AACES, was established in July 2014 by emergency physicians at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital passionate about point-of-care ultrasound in patient care.

Point of Care Ultrasound

Point-of-care ultrasound is a procedural skill that complements patient physical examination by integrating focused image acquisition with targeted clinical questioning, resulting in timely and actionable insights delivered right at the bedside that can significantly influence medical decisions and enhance patient care.

Our Courses

All K‑AISER courses are designed to equip participants with a clearly defined set of practical sonographic skills — covering image acquisition, optimization, interpretation, clinical judgment, and intervention — that can be readily applied at the bedside. Through collaborations with local and regional academic institutions, K‑AISER continues to expand its curriculum and deliver interactive, enriching learning experiences.
